Every nursing school wants students using realistic equipment in their practice lab- including a replica of medication administration systems used by hospitals. But most equipment is cost prohibitive, confusing and not easy to adapt to the educational settings. sim2grow, LLC created a medication administration training system with essential elements: dispensing unit, barcode scanning, and documentation capabilities. We eliminated the confusion and frustration that comes with various cobbled together practice equipment. Students can now repeatedly practice med passes until it is second nature. sim2grow was founded by two nurse educators who understand the nursing education space and what students need to transfer this skill to patient care in the hospital.
