OUH Odense Universitetshospital – Svendborg Sygehus

OUH consists of two units – Odense University Hospital and Svendborg Hospital – and is one of four university hospitals in the Danish hospital system. Our mission is to provide patients and relatives with the best possible treatment and care. Annually, approximately 95,000 patients are admitted to OUH, while 1,100,000 patients are received as outpatients. The university hospital provides treatment in all medical specialties, and we see intensive research efforts in all treatment areas as a natural part of the activity at a university hospital - not least in the highly specialized functions. We prioritize research and education in close collaboration with the University of Southern Denmark and a number of other educational institutions.
