William Cox, serving as the Global Head of Corporate, Financial, and Government Ratings at KBRA, is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in credit ratings. In his role, Bill leads KBRA teams overseeing a broad spectrum of ratings, including Corporate, Financial Institutions, Insurance, Funds, BDC, Transportation, Public Finance, Project Finance & Infrastructure, and Sovereign. Prior to joining KBRA, he led DSA Capital, LLC, providing consulting services and investment capital with a focus on improving K-12 public education in the United States.

Formerly an executive managing director at Standard & Poor’s (now S&P Global Ratings), Bill held key positions in strategic operations, market development, quantitative analytics, project management, and data operations. His diverse experience also includes leadership roles in School Evaluation Services and the Public Finance Ratings Group, as well as managing the Infrastructure Finance Group.
