Theresa Cummings is the Senior Vice President of Content and Curriculum at Sesame Workshop, the non-profit educational organization behind the children's TV show Sesame Street. In her role, Cummings is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of the organization's educational content across various media platforms, including television, digital media, and community engagement initiatives. Cummings has been with Sesame Workshop since 2004, and during her time there, she has led several major initiatives, including the development of Sesame Street's first autism-focused content and the creation of Sesame Workshop's first-ever early childhood development program in the Middle East. Before joining Sesame Workshop, Cummings worked in various educational and non-profit organizations, including the Children's Museum of Indianapolis, the American Museum of Natural History, and the Children's Television Workshop (now Sesame Workshop).
