Shani Abada completed her PhD in Communication Sciences and Disorders at McGill University. She studied how people learn language, what happens as people age, and how neurodiverse populations learn and process language. Beginning in 2012, Shani began working as a Conversation Designer. She used AI to allow people to speak to computers using natural language. She has been helping parents understand neuropsychology and education reports in order to advocate for their children since 2016. She seeks to use AI ethically to help people.
