Senior Vice President, Government Relations

Ryan currently serves as the senior vice president of government relations for the SelfInsurance Institute of America, Inc. (SIIA) where he heads up the association’s federal advocacyand political activities before Congress, the Administration, and various federal regulatoryagencies. For this work, he has been recognized on Captive Review’s 2015 & 2016 EnterpriseRisk Captive Pioneers List.Prior to joining SIIA, Ryan directed government affairs activities for S&P Global, where herepresented brands including Standard & Poor’s, Platts, and J.D. Power. Ryan has served in anumber of senior staff positions in the U.S. House of Representatives, most recently asLegislative Director for Rep. Cathy McMorris-Rodgers (WA). He previously served as Chief ofStaff to Rep. Katherine Harris (FL) and in various staff roles with the Committee on Ways&Means and the Office of the Speaker of the House.
