Mike Crawley

President & Chief Executive Officer

As President & Chief Executive Officer since 2018, Mike is responsible for leading Northland’s executive team and the company’s global operating, growth and investor relations planning and strategy.

Mike originally joined Northland in 2015 as Executive Vice President of Development. Over more than two decades, he has played a prominent role in the development of the Canadian independent renewable power sector. He was previously CEO of AIM PowerGen (“AIM”), where he led the company from initial concept to one of the largest independent renewable power developers in Canada. During his tenure, he oversaw the development, construction and operations of numerous renewables power projects. After AIM’s sale to Engie (formerly GDF Suez), Mike continued as the President of GDF Suez Canada.

Mike currently serves on the Instar Asset Management’s Advisory Board of Directors.
