Michelle Gaines is Chief Marketing and Content Officer at Preqin, the leading alternative assets data, analytics and insights company. In her role, she manages the global branding, demand generation, product marketing and content functions. She has more than 15 years of experience in marketing at financial data, information and technology companies. Prior to joining Preqin in 2018, she was Head of Marketing at Axioma, a quantitative financial technology company, which was since acquired and rebranded as Qontigo. She has also held marketing roles at Tradeweb and Standard & Poor's Ratings Services. She holds a Bachelors in Journalism from the University of Missouri and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
