Mark Whittle is a Vice President of Advisory in Gartner's Human Resources Practice. He is an experienced executive with 18 years’ experience in human resources, management strategy consulting, and project management. His particular expertise is in talent management to impact key business objectives.

Prior to Gartner, Mark worked 9 years as a strategy consultant with Accenture for nine years. Mark has an MBA from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), and a BA in Economics and Spanish from Claremont McKenna College.

Mark is a published author of THE JACARANDAS: A Novel of Argentina's Dirty War. Mark is originally from Los Angeles, California but grew up in Spain. He has lived and worked extensively throughout Latin America. He currently lives in the Washington DC area with his wife and three sons.
