Lori Maher McCombs was born in Chillicothe, Missouri and attended Southwest High School. Upon graduation, Lori attended college at the University of Missouri-Columbia.Following college, Lori pursued a career in the medical field. In 1999, Maher Group, LLC was founded to assist non-profit organizations with management and convention planning. Her first client was the Johnson County Bar Association, followed by the Human Resource Management Association of Greater Kansas City (now SHRM-KC).
