I am a scientist seeking to realize the therapeutic potential of improving mitochondrial function. I have broad expertise in executing experiments for mitochondria-related endpoints in cellular and in vivo systems in both academic and industry settings. I have a strong background in metabolism and diseases of metabolic origin, most notably diabetes, and also have substantial industry experience in neuromuscular diseases. My competencies include project design and management, data analysis and interpretation, development and implementation of research tools and the communication of findings to audiences of varying scientific knowledge. I enjoy challenging problems and the process of determining the best possible solution. My ultimate goal is to help people suffering from debilitating diseases live healthier, happier lives.
