I spearheaded the effort to establish clinical guidelines and establish scope of practice for advanced practice palliative care nurses, aimed at defining dignity at the end of life in several countries and cultures internationally. I remain an active member of the Ethics Committee at both Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital and Point32Health.
