I am an innovation and results focussed professional working on the implementation and development of process analytical technology (PAT), automation, analytics and advanced process control in cell and gene therapy R&D and manufacturing. I have extensive experience in applying PAT to biological processes e.g. viral vectors and autologous immunotherapies. My background is in physical chemistry, and I have 15 years’ experience in applied spectroscopy, in particular Raman, and chemometric analysis including novel method/algorithm development. I support digitalisation initiatives, data science and the implementation of industry 4.0 across the organisation. I am a member of the editorial advisory board for the Journal of Raman Spectroscopy.
