John has been a leader in his firm building greater gender inclusion in his investment officer roster, including expanding recruiting scope, focusing on diversity that thrives, programs to advance and retain women in their careers, and all-team conversations on what a successful diverse workplace looks and feels like.After the murders of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor, John helped lead an acceleration of his firm’s work on racial inclusion. This included facilitating broad employee conversations on race that ranged from book club on How to be an Anti-Racist, to helping lead an employee seminar on Racial Justice and Healing. It also included integrating racial inclusion more deliberately into the recruiting, retention, and advancement programs in his investment teams, and investment group conversations on what a successful diverse workplace looks and feels like.
