Chief Information Security Officer

Jay White is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for the Mississippi Department of Information Technology Services (ITS). ITS's CISO provides oversight of the cybersecurity efforts across all state agencies, including cybersecurity systems, services and development of policies, standards and guidelines. Jay has worked as a technology consultant with ITS for over 25 years. Jay has been the ITS CISO since in 2011. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from Mississippi College in Clinton, Mississippi.
