I am a published author and a business consultant with a focus on building amazing workplace cultures that achieve breakthrough performance and impact. My approach to workplace culture is based in deep research, but it's very practical--I help leaders design and manage culture like the tangible business tool that it is, allowing them to drive real growth, while simultaneously improving employee engagement and attracting the best talent.

I draw from more than 25 years of professional experience, including work in international conflict resolution, generational diversity, and more than 20 years managing a consulting practice. I've written three books with my Partner, Maddie Grant (Humanize, When Millennials Take Over, and The Non-Obvious Guide to Employee Engagement) and together they help leaders make sense of the big changes happening in leadership and management in this Millennial era and start embracing what we see emerging as the "future of work."

One of my favorite parts of being a published author is the opportunity to do keynotes at corporate and association events--I do roughly 20 to 30 appearances a year, both in the U.S. and abroad, for groups like Raytheon, the American Bankers Association, SHRM India, and the Wall Street Journal CEO Council.
