Ingolf Becker

Lecturer

Ingolf Becker holds the position of Lecturer in Security and Crime Science within the Department of Security and Crime Science at University College London. He is an integral member of UCL's Academic Centre of Excellence in Cyber-Security Research (ACE-CSR) and serves as a Principal Investigator at the Research Institute in Socio-Technical Security (RISCS). Currently, Ingolf leads UCL's involvement in the 3-year EPSRC project titled "Protecting public-facing professionals and their dependents online" (3PO).

Ingolf's research is centered on the domain of human-centered security and privacy. His fundamental belief is that security and privacy should never be isolated tasks, but rather enablers for productivity and societal advancement.
