Ihor Kuz is a Senior OS Engineer at Kry10, playing a pivotal role in the creation of a secure, reliable, and user-friendly platform centered on the seL4 framework. His collaborative efforts involve collaborating with exceptional colleagues to develop OS components, drivers, as well as supporting Elixir and BEAM integration, alongside advancing development tools.Beyond his corporate engagement, Ihor holds the esteemed position of Conjoint Associate Professor at UNSW, contributing to academia and fostering knowledge dissemination.His extensive career trajectory includes serving as a Principal Research Engineer within the Trustworthy Systems group, which operated under the umbrellas of NICTA, CSIRO's Data61, and UNSW, spanning from 2003 to 2021. In this role, Ihor held the mantle of leading the seL4 engineering team and making significant contributions to seL4-based system development, with a particular focus on CAmkES-based systems.Before his tenure with the Trustworthy Systems group, Ihor pursued his doctoral studies in the Netherlands, delving into research linked to the Globe wide-area distributed system project. His quest for expertise also led him to a 9-month stint in 2010 with ETH Zurich's Systems group, where he actively contributed to the advancement of the Barrelfish project.
