George Rivera

Director, Global Systems Engineer

Born in January 1958, George was enamored with the US Space Program and the Apollo Moon Missions. This thirst for science continued throughout his scholarly career, from high school science clubs to collegiate ones. The digital universe was just beginning and his first email was sent through MS-DOS which introduced him to Information Technology.

George quickly realized that much like those during the Gold Rush who sold picks and shovels to the miners, the real dependable money was in the infrastructure to support the emerging digital age. In November 2008 he achieved the terminal certification of RCDD.

As his skill levels grew, he further realized that to fully implement his ideas and talents he needed to hone his business knowledge. George attended San Diego State University, Argosy University, and the University of Charleston West Virginia. George became Dr. Rivera with two Doctorates, one in Business Administration (DBA) and the other in Executive Leadership (DEL). His lesser degrees include a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership (MSOL) and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
(BSBA) as well as an Associate of Arts in Liberal Studies.

This knowledge base allowed Dr. Rivera to work in the Defense Industry, developing and
implementing technology projects across the Departments of the Navy and the Army. His business, Rivera Scientific (a wholly owned subsidiary of Rivera & Rivera, Inc.) has been active in both DoD and Civilian projects, worldwide.
