Professor of Neurology and Attending Physician, Neuro Critical Care

Dr. Geoffrey Ling is CEO of Ling&Associates, which is a firm specializing in technology development for national security and healthcare. He is also Professor and Attending neurocritical care physician at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He was founder and CEO of On Demand Pharmaceuticals, which is developing manufacturing technology for point-of-care end-to-end generic pharmaceutical production so as to liberate the USA from dependence on overseas manufacturers. He is a pharmacologist (PhD) and physician (MD) who retired from the US Army as a colonel having served in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Also is Professor of Neurology at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. He previously served as the Founding Director of the Biological Technologies Office at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and was an Assistant Director of the Science Division at the President Obama White House Office of Science and Technology Policy responsible for Medical Innovation.
