Emily Hopewell have over a decade of cellular therapy and laboratory experience. Her career track has taken me from a technologist to a basic researcher to her current role as Director of Cell and Immunotherapy Manufacturing. In her previous role, She was responsible for the development, translation, and implementation of experimental cellular therapy. In that role, she drafted CMC sections, SOPs and related documents; validated and optimized procedures, reagents and supplies; prepared justifications for grants; trained technologists in new techniques; and was instrumental in the writing of the Facility Master File. Emily research interests include tumor infiltrating lymphocytes, T-regulatory cells, and cell lines for immunotherapy. Prior to her Development Specialist position, She studied the role of NF-kappaB in the induction of tumor immune responses. She is a member of the Early Stage Professional Committee of ISCT and an active member of HBA, AABB, ASCP, Sigma Xi, and ASM.
