Edward Hood

Mechanical Engineer

Edward is an Engineering Director and Senior Mechanical Engineer in the Health Division of HH Angus, specializing in the design of plumbing and medical gas systems and preparation of tender documents. His work is focused primarily on hospital and long-term care facilities, with additional experience in data centre design. Edward is involved in projects from conception to completion, including design development and specification documentation, including numerous P3 project pursuits. He is a Subcommittee Member on CSA Z7396.1, Medical Gas Pipeline Systems – Part I, and CSA Z251.25 Energy Based Medical-Surgical Devices; a Technical Committee Member of CSA B125 Series, B45 series, CSA B64 Series and CSA B356; and associate member of ASPE. Edward joined HH Angus in 2010, bringing previous experience designing plumbing, medical gas and fire protection systems.
