Dr. Dorothy Auth has over 20 years of experience in all aspects of intellectual property law, including, patent, trademark and copyright procurement, licensing, litigation and intellectual property counseling. Her experience spans diverse industries, including pharma, biotechnology, FinTech, and medical devices, as well as consumer products, computers, and other mechanical devices. Dorothy developed IP portfolios for, e.g., Medinol, Schering-Plough and the NIH.

Dorothy works with clients to develop their intellectual property assets and legal strategies to maximize their protected field. Dorothy practices in the PTAB defending IP rights in IPRs and other inter partes actions in patent and trademark cases. Dorothy obtained a critical reissue patent for Merck’s blockbuster drug, Zetia.

Dorothy addresses intellectual property diligence issues, advising on the validity, infringement and enforceability of target patents and performing FTO analyses of competitors. Dorothy advised Goldman Sachs in several high profile investment.
