He leads the banking team’s SBA/Government Guaranteed Lending search practice nationally, placing director/manage level leaders, business development officers, underwriters, and operations specialists for bank and non-bank lenders.

Prior to joining ThinkingAhead, Derek helped direct the operation of a $12 million dollar multi-unit Chick-fil-A operation where he oversaw staffing, recruiting and onboarding of all new employees. Along with his business operations experience, Derek spent three years in direct sales with the Southwestern Advantage company (door-to-door sales), consistently ranking as a top producer.
