David Teten

Managing Partner

David Teten is Founder of Versatile Venture Capital. He has previously advised such institutional investors as Birch Hill Equity Partners, Goldman Sachs Special Situations Group, Icahn Enterprises, LLR Partners, Real Ventures, Right Side Capital, and Orascom TMT Investments. David has particular interest in fintech, especially investment technology and alternative data. He was previously a Managing Partner with HOF Capital, a venture capital fund backed by 70 families and organizations across 21 countries, and Partner for 6 years with ff Venture Capital. He has served on the boards of Ionic (sold to Twilio), Authorea (sold to Wiley), Earnest Research (Observer), Signup.com, and Whisk (sold to Deem). He is also Founder of Harvard Business School Alumni Angels of Greater New York, the largest angel network on the East Coast. He writes periodically at teten.com.
