Christopher Adamec

Chris Adamec has a decade of experience elevating and empowering patients, caregivers, clinicians, and others to influence federal policymakers and further important health policy strategies.

Prior to joining Sirona Strategies, Chris convened a wide range of stakeholders while leading policy for the Patient-Centered Primary Care Collaborative (PCPCC). In that role, he strengthened diverse advocacy networks and shepherded the collective voice of primary care while advocating for policies and programs to make primary care more robust and patient centered.

Chris previously served as Director of Policy at the Healthcare Leadership Council (HLC), a coalition of chief executives of the nation’s leading healthcare companies and organizations. In that role, he worked to convene policy leaders from all sectors of healthcare and built consensus for multi-stakeholder advocacy on a broad range of health policy issues.

Chris also worked for a leading patient organization where he advocated for people with Alzheimer’s disease and their families. A notable achievement in this role was participation in efforts leading to the passage of P.L. 111-375, The National Alzheimer’s Project Act. In the distant past, Chris worked on Capitol Hill, for the State of Michigan, and in several political campaigns.

Chris earned his Master of Public Affairs from Indiana University’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs, and his Bachelor of Arts from Alma College in Michigan.
