Chris Guikema

Embedded Engineer

Chris Guikema is currently serving as an embedded systems engineer at DornerWorks, situated in Grand Rapids, MI. His current role centers around being an integral part of the seL4 development and expansion team, where he actively contributes to the augmentation of the seL4 ecosystem, thus bolstering the security of embedded systems.

Chris obtained his bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Grand Valley State University in August 2016, a foundational achievement that underpins his engineering expertise.

His professional journey encompasses past experiences, including an internship at Gill Electronics in the capacity of an Electronics Engineer. During this period, Chris was instrumental in advancing wireless power transfer products adhering to the Airfuel standard. His contributions spanned debug, development, and testing, encompassing both transmitting and receiving devices. Additionally, he led projects that encompassed a Smart Phone Simulator, Human Presence Detection, and a 16 Channel DC Power Supply.
