With a profound background spanning over two decades in Real-World Evidence (RWE), Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR), and drug commercialization, he has garnered widespread recognition for formulating and executing drug value demonstration strategies for numerous top-tier pharmaceutical companies, thereby significantly enhancing patient access.

In his current role as the leader of Biogen's Medical Health Outcomes Research team, Charles oversees an extensive portfolio of RWE and health outcomes studies. His dynamic leadership was previously showcased in his role leading Biogen's Alzheimer's Disease franchise for the Value & Access team, where he orchestrated pricing, market access, and HEOR strategies on a global scale.

Prior to his tenure at Biogen, Charles achieved notable accomplishments as the General Manager and VP of ICON's RWE-Late Phase Research unit, a division renowned for its prospective data collection capabilities. His leadership paved the way for the team's recognition with the 2018 Late-Phase CRO Leadership Award.
