In my current role at Alexion, I lead user and employee experience within Central Quality. Additionally, I have served as lead for survey programs enterprise-wide and provide supportive data to guide international HR strategy, digital transformation, and workforce experiences for 4,100+ employees in 50 countries around the world.Researcher and storyteller Brené Brown said, “Maybe stories are just data with a soul.” I wholeheartedly agree. Collecting data and marrying employees’ stories about workplace culture is essential to a company’s success. Transformational change is a larger part of my work. Launching initiatives never done before, transforming information into value, and demonstrating the value of these new functions are critical elements. Uncovering meaning, value and gaps in our listening strategy - and then strategically tackling those gaps is equally compelling. Translating complex data into actionable insights that improve employee experience and drive increased productivity, higher retention, and stronger workforce effectiveness is my endgame. I’ve created and launched comprehensive voice-of-employee (VoE) programs and employee sentiment surveys to identify pain points and provide feedback to senior leadership and championed change in HR policies. My credentials include a M.A. in Applied Sociology with a concentration in Survey Research and Design and a B.A. in Actuarial Science/Mathematics. I have extensive experience working in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. In addition, I served as Director of Client Insight for a consultancy that served 30,000 attorneys, and as a customer experience strategist for a major retail chain.
