Chad Eggen

Economic Development Representative

Chad Eggen is an Economic Development Representative with the United States Department of Commerce. He works for the Economic Development Administration in the ten-state Denver Region and
covers the state of Missouri.
Chad is a former member of the National Association of Development Organizations (NADO)’s Board of Directors and former Vice President with the Missouri Association of Councils of Government. He was a
member of the Rural Planning Organizations of America and he was employed at the Mid-Missouri Regional Planning Commission and the Boonslick Regional Planning Commission. He has worked with
local cities, businesses, non-profit organizations, and chambers of commerce on business attraction, retail incentive packages, sales and use taxes, tourism, promotion of regional events, and regional
economic development initiatives.
Chad holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Lincoln University in Missouri and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Western Michigan University. He hails from Cole County, Missouri,
and currently lives in Montgomery City with his wife and three children.
