I started analyzing network protocols at Lockheed, Sunnyvale CA troubleshooting secure classified government networks in 1980. I worked for the first network protocol analyzer creator Network General Sniffer. I have integrated IBM SNA, DEC VAX, Novell Netware, 3Com, Banyan and many others using Ethernet, Token Ring, connecting to LAN’s to WAN’s all of which transitioned to TCP/IP and the Internet in the 1980’s. When high stakes network and security problems emerged, I remain honored to respond. At 9/11 I was tasked to lead the Pentagon communications recovery effort and helped stop a major DDOS attack against US Stock Markets. I Deployed six times as a civilian with USCENTCOM to Iraq and Afghanistan, at Joint Chiefs request, to troubleshoot global network intelligence and biometric systems and software.
