Bianca Marie Roberson is the Director of Business Planning and Governance within the U.S. Department of Transportation’s (DOT), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). As a thought leader with over fifteen years of experience in the federal space, Bianca has extensive experience facilitating innovation and working at the intersection of programmatic outcomes and information technology. DOT OCIO has a progressive initiative underway to consolidate information technology and to conquer Big Hairy Audacious Goals (BHAGs) such as being the best IT in government. Under this initiative, Bianca’s has oversight of all IT spending and compliance within the $4 billion-dollar IT portfolio as well as manages the IT budget, Enterprise IT Risk Management Program, capital planning and investment control, project performance life cycle, IT policy and strategic planning as well as IT governance programs.
