Distinguished Architect, Observability

Arijit is a distinguished architect at Splunk leading architecture for Splunk’s observability portfolio. His current focus is integrating Splunk Observability tightly with the rest of Splunk’s offerings. Previously he was CTO at SignalFx (acquired by Splunk) where he was instrumental in building their observability solution from ground up, including the unique scalable real-time streaming analytics technology. Prior to SignalFx, he spent six years developing and scaling Facebook’s (Meta’s) monitoring platform and networking tools during the company’s explosive growth phase. In his diverse career of almost 25 years, he has also been involved with pioneering efforts in enterprise VoIP telephony and network virtualization as an engineer and architect at Cisco. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science, and is the author of 10 technology patents.
