I am a facilitator, coach, mentor and university lecturer with over 25 years corporate and government experience and a background in management consulting in Australia and the UK. I design, facilitate and coach leadership and wellbeing programs that build strengths, confidence and efficacy to create happier, more engaged individuals and workplaces. I have worked with hundreds of groups and inviduals across banking, energy, accounting, the law, healthcare and education to help them become more connected to self and others and to have a range of tools and approaches, based on a combination of academic research and practical application, and within each workplace's unique context.I love to learn and to share what I learn. In particular, I have been learning about and working with the tools of Positive Psychology, strength-based approaches and appreciative inquiry since the early 2000s and continuously build my knowledge and practice. My most recent formal course of study was a Masters in Applied Positive Psychology (MAPP) from the University of Melbourne: my capstone thesis was on the intersection of workplace wellbeing and gender equality. I am very much a 'pracademic' - bridging the gap between the research and the applied to create solutions that build individual and workplace thriving. My experience over the years - combined with my fascination for humans and how we think, motivate and connect - has led me to a place where I choose only to work with individuals and organisations that are committed to making meaningful, positive difference within and upon the systems they are a part of. Being research and evidence-informed is central to this work as is a commitment to diversity, inclusion and gender equality. This means being willing and open to doing the brave work that allows all people to thrive.
