Andrea Frohning

Chief Human Resources Officer

Andrea Frohning is the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for Premier. Frohning joined Premier in 2023 and as CHRO, she is responsible for Premier’s overall people strategy, focusing on organizational development and professional growth, prioritizing employee well-being, driving a culture of belonging, and creating high-performing individuals and teams, and driving a culture of belonging in partnership with the Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer. She oversees all human resources and workplace resources functions and programs and works closely with Premier leaders and employees to align HR initiatives and outcomes with Premier’s business strategies.


Frohning has more than 25 years of exceptional human resources experience, including a proven track record with public, Fortune 500 companies helping businesses navigate growth, change management and culture transformations. Prior to joining Premier, she served as the Chief Human Resources Officer for Patterson Companies where she provided strategic human resources and culture leadership to 8,000 employees across 120 locations in North America and the UK. Frohning also previously served as Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer at Snyder’s-Lance, where she helped drive operational improvements, accelerate positive culture changes and grow leadership capabilities. Her career experience also includes serving as Vice President of Human Resources at Crane Co., and human resource managerial positions at Hubbell Inc., General Electric Consumer Finance and Pepsi Bottling Group.


Frohning holds a Bachelor of Science degree in human development and family studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a master’s degree from the Institute of Labor and Industrial Relations at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
