Ana Paula Martinez is a partner with the Brazilian law firm Levy & Salomão. From 2007 to 2010, she served as head of Brazil’s antitrust investigative agency and, before entering government, she was an associate with Cleary Gottlieb in Brussels. Mrs. Martinez has a LL.M. from Harvard Law and USP and a PhD in Criminal Law (USP). Ms. Martinez served as an antitrust advisor to the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (Unctad), to the government of Colombia and to the World Bank. She is also an executive with São Paulo’s Art Biennial, member of the Arbitration Chamber of São Paulo’s Stock Exchange, of the Advisory Board of Brazil's office of Harvard University (DRCLAS), of the Board of Insper, and MASP. She is the author of books and articles on competition and anti-corruption.
