Ali Chaudhry serves as Senior Vice President and Chief of Development & Government Relations in the Americas East Region at AECOM, where he plays a leadership role in managing business development and key client engagement, while serving as project executive over several projects in New York and New Jersey. Prior to joining AECOM, Ali served as New York State’s Deputy Secretary for Transportation, where he oversaw policy, operations, and funding of all New York State transportation agencies, including the Department of Transportation, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, the Thruway Authority, the Port Authority, and the Department of Motor Vehicles, in addition to regional transit agencies. He has also served as Deputy Secretary for Economic Development and Housing, and as Assistant Counsel to the New York Governor.
