Alec has practiced labor and employment law for over 30 years. He specializes in traditional labor relations, employment law and litigation, and Human Resources counseling/training. He has tried over 100 cases to completion dealing with all areas of the employment relationship. He is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources as well as a Labor and Employment Specialist by the Minnesota Bar Association (where he served as Chair of the Labor and Employment Section). Alec is licensed to practice law in Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin and North Dakota, as well as the United States Supreme Court and several lower federal courts. He has served as Minnesota SHRM General Counsel for the past ten + years.
