The International Conference on Pharmacoepidemiology & Therapeutic Risk Management (ICPE 2023) will be held in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada from August 23-27, 2023. The conference is organized by the International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology (ISPE) and will bring together leaders from industry, government, academia, and the healthcare community to discuss the latest advances in pharmacoepidemiology and therapeutic risk management.
The theme of ICPE 2023 is "The Global Home for the Science of Real-World Evidence." Real-world evidence (RWE) is data collected from real-world settings, such as electronic health records, administrative databases, and patient-reported outcomes. RWE is increasingly being used to inform drug safety and efficacy decisions, and ICPE 2023 will explore the latest methods for generating and using RWE.
