BSides Knoxville is a community-driven information security conference held in Knoxville, Tennessee. The conference aims to provide a relaxed and comfortable environment for attendees to learn about various topics of interest to the infosec/hacker community. The event focuses on presenting useful and interesting information, as well as helping people connect with old friends and make new ones. The conference is produced by the community, for the benefit of the community, and all decisions and actions are made with that in mind. The event is held at two venues, Relix and The Brookside, both located at 1208 N Central St, Knoxville, TN 37917. Attendees under the age of 18 can attend for free but are not guaranteed a badge, unless there are a significant amount of extras. Unattended children will be given caffeine, candy, and a free pony (which is likely meant to be humorous). Those who wish to support the Knoxville information security community can make a donation.
